　　黑龙江三江美术职业学院是经黑龙江省政府批准、教育部备案、归属于黑龙江省教育厅领导的一所集造型艺术、设计艺术、雕塑艺术、建筑艺术、影视艺术、动画艺术、美术理论研究和计算机网络为一体的国家普通高校，是黑龙江省唯一纳入国家招生计划、独立设置的全日制重点美术学院，是继我国九大美院后的第一所高等美术职业学院。

　　学院本部位于佳木斯市西郊，松花江畔，自然环境优美。占地24.5万平方米，拥有教学、行政等用房5.67万余平方米，教学仪器设备总值1200余万元;院本部办有四系(影视动画艺术设计系、绘画雕塑艺术设计系、视觉传达艺术设计系和环境艺术设计系)、二院(继续教育学院和基础教育学院)、两个设计园区(哈尔滨教学实习基地与北京教学实习基地);开设有5个品牌专业、5个特色专业、12个优势专业;师资力量雄厚，有教授、副教授79名，聘请了212名知名的专家、学者为学院长期兼职教师。

　　办学28年来，为人才培养所做出的不懈努力，得到了社会的广泛认可。近万名毕业生全部就业，在社会上赢得了良好声誉，用人单位普遍反映，三江美院的毕业生基础扎实、动手能力强，富有开拓创新精神，发展潜力较大。被誉为“培养艺术设计人才的摇篮”，并荣获“全国高校先进单位”“全国人民满意高等职业院校”“全国就业率最佳高等院校”等称号。新华社、中央电视台等国内数十家新闻媒体先后报道过该院的先进办学事迹。联合国教科文组织比利时、日本、美国等国的教育代表团在中国国家部委及省市领导、专家、学者的陪同下，到三江美院参观访问，洽谈合作事宜，三江美院已步入国际艺术教育交流行列。

Sanjiang Vocational Art College in Heilongjiang province is an independent art college which is authorized by the provincial government in Heilongjiang province. And we are also put on records by the ministry of education. We are an integrative higher-academy combined with mould art, designing art, sculptural art, architectural art,, movie Dom art, cartoon art, the research and theoretical of art. Meanwhile we are the only college in Heilongjiang province which is brought into the national plan of recruitment. Our college lies to the west-suburb of Jiamusi, which is really a beautiful place surrounded by the high mountains and Songhuajiang River. And it covers the area of 245 thousand sq.m. And we also possess 28 buildings for teaching and administration. The teaching apparatus are worth of more than 8 million RMB. Until now we have possessed four department, namely, movie-cartoon artistic design, drawing and sculptural artistic design, visual-transmission and artistic design, environmental artistic design. And we also have an Educational College for Further Education. A famous designing lyceum also belongs to us. In our college there are five brand majors, five featured majors and twelve majors with great priorities. There are three teaching districts affiliated with our college as well, such as, the Elemental Educational College, one of the teaching districts in Harbin and another one is in Beijing. There are so many famous teachers working in our college, some of them are even experts or scholars. During these 28 years, we have made our great effort to cultivate so many talents for our society. Until now thousands of graduates have found the comparatively ideal jobs themselves. The students graduated from our college have got very good reputation from the society. As the graduates are very skillful with their works and they are also full of the spirit of innovation. As a result, our college has been called the cradle for cultivating the artistic designing talents, and is regarded as the satisfying vocational college as well as the first choice in the part of employment statistics.
